GP Protect
GP Protect is our service specifically designed for the PEG General Partnerships to identify and mitigate cyber risk in their own organizations.
Typically implemented when the PEG is primarily pursuing a strategy of purchasing minority interests – and so has less control in the cybersecurity strategy being pursued within individual PortCos. Working directly with the Cyber Lead within the GP, this focussed approach ensures that the General Partnership is adequately protected.
Given the scale of typical transactions, this assurance can be crucial. Partnering with an experienced and independent third party like Black Creek provides a significant “stamp of approval” for Limited Partner investors.
This endorsement can also be advantageous when dealing with SEC regulators, offering an extra layer of credibility and security.

PortfolioProtect is our flagship service able to deliver visibility, prioritization and managed remediation across the entire Private Equity Group to raise both GP and their PortCo.s above the Cyber Poverty Line.
Working with both the GP and each PortCo. directly, we assess current cyber readiness state and agree portfolio wide priorities and remediation plans using our BCRMP process, specifically designed for Private Equity groups.
